Job Description

Group Manager: Human Capital Excellence who will introduce thought leadership, best practices and solutions for stakeholders/operating units across the organisation in people sourcing, succession planning, compensation, benefits and rewards, performance management, on-boarding, employee engagement

Lead the organisational design initiatives through creating and presenting business cases for the initiation of projects designed to increase internal customer satisfaction with Human Resources (HR) products, processes and services;
 Take ownership of Organisation Development (OD) and change management initiatives on behalf of Human Capital (HC), manage organisational transition, and build an environment committed to change and direct individual efforts towards common goals;
 Create new innovative ideas by redefining typical existing approaches;
 Oversee the development of systems and tools to enable the delivery of HC solutions to the business;
 Facilitate and manage execution of overall organisational employee engagement strategy, plans and activities in support of the overall company goals and objectives;
 Define on boarding procedures in alignment with the organisational culture;
 Ensure thought leadership in sourcing, talent management and succession planning adopting a solutions oriented approach, aligned with best practice for all stakeholders across the organisation;
 Lead the compilation, implementation and maintenance of performance management that is suitable for the needs of the organisation;
 Facilitate the design, implementation and maintenance of the organisation’s total compensation and benefits model that is fair, equitable and competitive that fits and is aligned to the company’s strategy and business goals;
 Facilitate and manage execution of overall company employee engagement strategy, plans and activities in support of the overall company goals and objectives;
 Oversee delivery of HR project activity associated with major business change programmes;
 Work closely with the Group Executive: Human Capital to devise and implement the human capital strategy and operating model;
 Design and implement HR policies that promote a healthy working environment;

Job Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology / Behavioural sciences with at least ten years relevant experience, including specialist experience in talent management or organisational development;  Must hold an honours degree or higher HR Professional qualification;  Certification / accreditation in Project Management would be advantageous.  Strong project management and HR services delivery expertise;  Must have experience in communicating ideas and information through written proposals, reports and presenting these to top senior management.
