Full-Time Application Support Engineer
Our company requires an experienced and knowledgeable Application Support Engineer in our Test & Measurement Division to provide pre-and post-sales support to internal and external Customers
Provides in-depth technical expertise in areas of focus to support the sales organisation in a pre-sales role by understanding the needs of the customer and offering suitable solutions to meet those needs.
Provides post-sales technical support to ensure the customer gains maximum benefits from the products or solutions purchased.
Provides support to customers on assigned support contracts and ensures that agreed SLA measures are met. Liaises with partners to coordinate the timeous delivery of support services and replacement hardware.
Responsible for the development and delivery of customer training to meet customer’s training requirements with the objective of improving the effectiveness of the customer’s organisation in utilizing the product or solution supplied.
Provides billable consulting services. Develops and agrees scope of work with sales and customer and delivers within the agreed schedule.
Assists in developing and/or delivering product or high-level technology seminars or VIP events, and assists with consulting at trade shows in assigned business segment with focus on generating leads and expanding business opportunities.
Communicates complex technical information to managers and sales to effectively influence plans and decisions on assigned accounts.
